Our branch mission is to fully engage with our 4800+ CIPD members and organisations through inspiring people with professional excellence.
We want to actively engage our members in our branch activities, and to make your experience both valuable and enjoyable by being able to:
– attend events
– contribute to newsletters
– get involved with CIPD Policy Consultations
– visit and explore the branch site
– follow or join us on our social media groups join and create discussions
We are a 20+ person strong committee with varying ages and levels and areas of expertise and you can find us all here on the contacts page.
We are a diverse bunch, who work hard to develop and produce an events programme to meet the professional needs of the CIPD’s Manchester area members, as well as managing this website and sending all members a regular newsletter. Our aim is to raise the image and profile of the branch, and represent the membership. Ultimately, to influence the Institute policy on local, national and international issues.
We are always looking for new ideas, and welcome any comments or suggestions you may have and we thought that having a blog would be a great way to engage with our members.
