Events spotlight
We’re delighted to announce that our Annual Branch Conference and AGM takes place on Monday, 10 June 2019 from 16:30 to 20:30 at Eversheds House, Manchester, M1 5ES.
We’re putting together a great event, beginning with networking, snacks and drinks followed by interactive and engaging sessions designed for you and your wellbeing. We’ll also be giving you a sneak preview of the areas we will be focusing on, as a branch, over the next 12 months (help shape our agenda here) before rounding off with our AGM and final networking and drinks.
This annual event is an excellent opportunity to meet all Manchester Branch volunteers, learn more about our work and how you can get involved at a local and regional level.
Missed our Agile OD Conference?
Last Friday (12 April) we held our OD conference The Agile Organisation in Altrincham. The event was a huge success, and for the benefit of those who could not attend on the day, we curated the top tweets, photos and linked resources.

Health and Well-being at Work 2019
The CIPD published its nineteenth annual survey exploring trends and practices in health, well-being and absence management in UK workplaces.
The survey highlights some causes for concern, such as an increase in stress-related absence and a lack of support for managers, who are increasingly expected to take responsibility for their team’s well-being.
The CIPD is calling on employers to invest in more training and development for managers and have published some top tips to support managers to minimise stress in their teams.
