Emirates Old Trafford is home to Lancashire County Cricket Club and is one of the most prestigious conference venues in Manchester. Our conference suite offers panoramic views over the famous pitch and, weather permitting, delegates will be able to take a breath of fresh air between sessions on the terraces (accessible via the conference suite).
We are delighted to welcome the law firm Eversheds Sutherland LLP for a second year. Naeema Choudry is a partner in the Human Resources Practice Group and will lead our masterclass with her team. Naeema advises on all aspects of employment law and is a highly experienced Employment Tribunal litigator. She advises on executive terminations, whistleblowing, large-scale redundancies, TUPE, contractual disputes and discrimination issues. Naeema regularly works in a cross border environment and contributes to a variety of publications and broadcast media.
Naeema also features in the Legal 500, Legal Experts and Chambers directories in which she is noted for her “articulate and professional manner” and “high level of competency in various areas, from tribunals to pension issues, to discrimination” and as someone “you would want in your corner”.
Acas North West
This year we welcome, for the third year running, James Boffey who always delivers a lively and very interactive session. James joined Acas North West in 2015 after having worked in prison education, teaching English to male offenders. James initially began working in Dispute Resolution, as the first point of contact for employees with potential Tribunal claims before moving into Training and Advisory work in early 2017.
James has worked with a range of public and private sector organisations across the North West. He provides advice, training and support to both staff and management to improve employment relations and business performance.
