For businesses, flexible working is a hot topic, as demand for working options from employees and potential employees increases to allow them to manage their work-life balance.

Flexible working is an a huge enabler for organisations, increasing diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and support employee well-being.

Our event will cover:

  • why flexible working matters for employers and HR
  • why people want flexible working
  • overcoming resistance by managers and business leaders
  • addressing the myths and overcoming barriers

We are delighted to welcome Gemma Dale, an experienced HR Director and Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, who speaks and writes on a variety of HR topics including employee engagement, flexible working, well-being and social media.

Gemma is a qualified mediator and coach, and an award-winning blogger. Gemma is the co-author of several books on HR, social media and wellbeing and is currently writing ‘The Flexible Working Revolution’ which will be published in September 2020.

Gemma also lecturers at John Moores University in LIverpool, as well as running her own business, The Work Consultancy where she focuses on focuses on policy development, well-being and coaching. Follow Gemma twitter @HR_Gem

Our event will begin with networking at 18:00 with a selection of teas, coffee and sandwiches and will finish at 20:00.
