Developing Learning and Development Support on a Budget

The welfare of our delegates is very much at the forefront of our minds, and as such, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone this event.

All attendees who have paid to attend will shortly receive a full refund. We will keep you updated once we are in a position to reschedule the event.

As measures to stem the spread of COVID-19 take on increasing priority, the CIPD will continue to collate and publish updated resources to support your response and has made its Coronavirus Hub open to all. The hub includes:

  • General information
  • People policy and legal considerations
  • Flexible and homeworking
  • Business continuity and planning
  • Travel
  • Medical

You can access the hub here

Learning is often at the forefront of new thinking in business. It’s also one of the first places where organisations look to make savings and to find business value.

This session focuses on developing your L&D support on a budget, which is a challenge that many different types of organisations face.

Andrew Jacobs will walk through some of the challenges that a modern learning professional faces and allow you to work on your L&D business challenges.

The session will include:

  • challenging your thinking about your approach
  • asking you to describe what stops you from being more innovative
  • the value of nil/neutral cost solution
