Being the sole HR professional in an organisation comes with a raft of unique challenges and it genuinely helps to have a support network where you can let off steam, discuss problems and help other members by sharing your insights, solutions and useful resources.
We’re holding a virtual meet-up for members of the CIPD Manchester Branch Solo HR Practitioner group to get together, discuss current hot topics, share best practice, challenges and support each other. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with other standalone HR professionals from all sectors across Greater Manchester.
We’ll provide you with an opportunity to network and chat with all participants and in smaller groups (break-out rooms) based on the topics raised. We’ll also use a variety of ways to help you interact and connect. Don’t worry if this is new to you we will send out guidance in advance together with details of how to connect to our Zoom meet-up.
Our Solo HR Practitioners Virtual Meet-Up is a highly participative and interactive session where we encourage open discussion in a confidential setting.. To get the session started we’ll be discussing:
- What’s worked well for you recently?
- What’s been challenging?
- What’s been your most significant and unexpected learning?
