Our flagship Annual Employment Law Masterclass provides insightful sessions on new and forthcoming legislative changes together with the latest case law developments, plus focused deep-dive sessions on areas of particular interest to people professionals.

From our choice of Manchester’s finest legal experts, prestigious venues, warm breakfasts and two-course sit-down lunches, to comprehensive delegate packs and plentiful goodies, our masterclass is more than just an event; it’s an experience, at least that’s what we’d planned pre-pandemic. We’re now working on a series of morning and lunchtime sessions around mid-March with Sara Barrett (partner) and her team at Mills & Reeve LLP (Manchester).

Masterclass 2020

Back in January 2020 we welcomed experts from Eversheds Sutherland LLP and Acas North West at Emirates Old Trafford to bring you comprehensive sessions focusing on recent and forthcoming developments in employment law and providing delegates with both guidance and increased clarity on possible impacts for their business/organisation.

Based on feedback from our 2019 masterclass we added a touch of interactivity including live polls, table discussions to stimulate thinking and deepen delegates understanding of the ever-changing legal landscape. Our bingo session went down particularly well as did James Boffey’s entertaining delivery.

Who attended

We welcomed over 100 delegates including HR professionals at all levels, business owners and managers, CEOs, managers, line-managers, employee representatives, and students in business, law and HRM.
