For so many Learning professionals, the almost overnight shift to remote working last year resulted in rapid organisational learning delivery shifts. In 2020, a survey by the Fosway Group found that 94% of L&D professionals had to change their organisation’s learning strategy in response to the pandemic, with two-thirds having to make significant changes.
The same survey concluded that L&D will never be the same again with only 5% of respondents thinking their learning strategy, investment and resourcing will go back to what it was before the pandemic. The pandemic has led to reductions in overall learning provision and spending even if a higher proportion is delivered online.
