When was the last time to stopped to think about how you’re really doing and about your own self-care?
Here at CIPD Manchester, we are passionate about providing a range of events that cater to the needs of our members; meaning more than providing the latest thinking on HR topics.

In the past 12-months, the people profession has faced some of its most difficult challenges. Thrust into the operational spotlight, people professionals have had to deal with the added pressures of furlough, redundancies and supporting those facing different losses, whilst also acting as champions for employee wellbeing.
So, let’s pause for a second…whilst you have been busy adapting and responding to the challenges of the last 12-months and busy looking after everyone else, who’s been looking after YOU?
We need to ensure that we have the right support and that we feel ready to face the challenges that lie ahead. When people ask how you are, do you give a generic response that doesn’t really answer the question? When was the last time to stopped to think about how you’re really doing and about your own self-care?

In our first session on Friday 12 March at 12 noon, we want YOU to help shape what future sessions at the HR Café might look like. We will focus on sleep awareness ahead of #WorldSleepDay on 19 March. Our event will be co-hosted by Sarah Chadbourne, Standalone HR Group Lead and Liz Needham OD Group Lead together with Paul Hamlin, Wellbeing Group Lead, Samantha Lubanzu, Vice Chair CIPD Manchester Branch committee and Sally O’Shea Branch Ambassador.
